We rode by the church for almost a week when we decided to take a look inside. The outside is more impressive. It is free so you should take a look....

Beautiful church with a very nice garden around it, but it was closed even though it wasn't time for mass. And no sign saying why it was closed, according to the Google it was supposed to be open. So, I'd say it's not worth the trip unless you're happy just seeing the exterior or live nearby. There are many other beautiful churches and historical buildings that can be seen in Prague.

The Church Of St Ludmila is a landmark church in the wonderful area Vinohrady & Vrsovice.
The twin spired church is located in a well kept little park and looks awesome.
On our latest visit the church was closed but I am always impressed by this church which easily dominates the immediate area, this church has stood here since 1888 so has some serious history attached to it.
This church is a great area to visit,as you exit Namesti Miru metro station you cannot miss this church which is in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and great transport links .
A lovely church in a great area and well worth checking out.

This church looked lovely from the outside- and the square outside is nice. Unfortunately despite the front door being open the inner doors were shut.

I wasn't very impressed as it said to please not come in during mass, but no mass was taking place and it wasn't obvious why it was shut- there was no-one to ask. Two other groups of people got there the same time as us so the church missed out on a few visitors.

From what we could see it looked very nice inside so I do think it is worth a visit.

It is an average church built in 1888
You can park right in front of it (PAY)
I recommend this church to say a prayer, but not as an attraction.
