Description: As the River Vltava and Prague Castle are inherent parts of Prague, the genuine czech love for good beer and cozy pubs can be considered the cyech national heritage. Just a few steps from Wenceslas Square, you can find a typical Czech restaurant called U Pinkasu, where Pilsner Urquell was the first beer being drawn in Praguee as early as in 1843. First class and traditionally draft beer is drawn on three storeys and each of these premises will captivate its guests with traditional czech cuisine as well as cosy atmosphere. And this is the reason why people like coming here – excellent Pilsen beer drawn in a traditional manner, genuine Czech cuisine, home and unique atmosphere.

This typical Czech pub is located very close to Wenceslas square. Despite the location, the prices are still reasonable. Very good beer (Pilsner) with the right temperature, good Czech cuisine, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. It is good to make a reservation in advance.

This restaurant/gastropub/bar is a must visit when you're in Prague. If you want to experience some traditional Czech food, beer, and culture, this is the place to visit. Much to our surprise, it wasn't full of tourists so you can get a really good local welcoming vibe.

Visited here in March looking for local Czech cuisine. The place is more like a pub than a restaurant, its not fine dining but the food was great. We went for classic Czech dishes and the portions for massive. The Czechs don't seem to do wine so if you are a wine buff don't bother ! we had the house red and is was fine for £2.50 a glass. We sat upstairs and its was very warm , the tables are quite close together. If you want local cuisine , at a good price , near the centre of town this is a good one to visit.

Drink with the locals at this traditional bar. Good beer fairly priced in a central location, pleasant atmosphere. We would return again someday.

We ordered some sausages for a quick dinner accompanied by some beer. The serving was fastand the food was tasty. The place looks old school, very athmospheric.
