The apartment was spacious and could easily sleep 9 people, so my wife and I enjoyed the open feeling of the unit.
The apartment we stayed in, on the 3rd floor, is one of two identical units managed by Zeki A. (on the 2nd and 3rd floors) so although our unit conformed to the same layout and specification as the rooms pictured on trip advisor its wasn't the unit as shown. Zeki is extremely helpful and responded immediately to any queries related to the apartment and fixtures so don't be afraid to ask!
The unit is clearly being refurbished on an ongoing basis and was a little rough in places but was extremely clean and warm. We were on the third level of the building which provided excellent security. It's not new but overall it met our expectations.
The free wifi was excellent but the TV is showing it's age.
The apartment is located on the edge of the Mala Strana and is 5~7 minutes walk to the old town in one direction, or 3~5 minutes walk to modern malls and supermarkets in the other direction. The area doesn't feel "over run" by tourists and feels very safe.
There is a small park across from the apartment and the coffee shop at the end of the park (near the church) was excellent, well worth going to for a drink (coffee or stronger).
We found that there are restaurants everywhere and those we visited were very clean - but if you're a non-smoker be sure to ask for a non-smoking table as smoking indoors is the norm.
Zeki recommended the Kolkovna Olympia restaurant at Vítězná 7 and we can confirm it was excellent value and quality.
When we made the booking through Trip Advisor Zeki responded immediately and offered to arrange a private transfer (pick-up) from the airport which made our overall experience stress free. The driver took us to the apartment and introduced us to Zeki - the whole thing was very easy.
We had a great relaxing holiday and being able to do our own thing in the apartment was a factor in the experience.

This is a great location, with a little park out the front door, a grocery store just around the corner, the river maybe 2 minutes away by foot, and Petrin Hill an easy walk. You can even walk downtown if you want. The area of town doesn't feel too touristy, but it's still pretty. A perfect combo.
The apartment is huge and airy, with high ceilings and big windows. You can basically divide it into three bedrooms plus a hang-out entryway, kitchen, and bathroom. The building is old, and it shows through in the apartment. Not all of the interior doors really closed. The kitchen plumbing smelled a little when we were there. However, the appliances were new and good and the place was clean. The owners appear to be making improvements as they go.
The owner we worked with was very helpful and friendly. He got us a baby crib and baby bath for the little one, provided everything we needed, and made us feel welcome, like friends. He even hunted down information on a good place to eat fruit knedliky. He also responded promptly to e-mail questions before we arrived.
We had a great stay in Prague.
