Really enjoyed this hostel immensely, turned out to be one of the best aspects of our holiday! Very relaxed and cosy setup with a cool vibe. The overall value is ridiculously good and the location could not be any better if you want to be in the middle of the action! So central in fact that the noise from all the partying on the river might be a problem for some people at the weekend during summer, but Gdansk is all about the nightlife so you will have a tough time avoiding this anyway! There is a strict but very wise curfew from 23:00 - 7:00 and i can definitely say we were never disturbed by other guests.
If i ever return to Gdansk, i will definitely stay here.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the river are a bit noisier and warmer. Rooms facing the street will be quiter...

I`ve stay only one night but I felt I like arriving my family home, not hostel. Straight from the street you enter common room with books, tv and kitchen. Some of the rooms have amazing river view. All of them are clean and comfortable with lamp and electric plug next to each bed. Localisation couldn`t be more perfect. Staff is extremaly polite and on the guard of comfy atmosphere (they fined with 200zł bunch of missbeaving young guest, who woke up half hostel being drunk). If you need chill, peacfull hostel - this is the place.

Helpful staff, simple and good breakfast, pretty clean room and bathrooms. Not large luggage storage.
A had a bed in 10-mixed dorm in March for 5 night and it was great: only 2 night I had a neighbors))) By the way 10-mixed dorm had an amazing view so i decided to stayed there.
Everything was good, but.... there no towels for hands (paper or not) in bathrooms(((

I was there for 4 days to visit Gdansk and its surrounding and I can't imagine better place to stay. Hostel is located in the hearth of the old city, so you need around 20 steps from hostel entrance to see the main town hall while listening to classical music played by young people at the gate between square and riverbank. Oh, and let's no forget kind people that care about this piece of paradise in hostel. See you soon!

Friendly Staff, clean room. Breakfast is included. Well situated in the old town close to the river. It's reachable by car. There's a nightclub across the river where you can party.
I can recommend this.

Stayed here for a cheap weekend away, for the price I thought this was an amazing hostel. It was quite small but felt very homely and was in a great location. By far one of the best hostels I have stayed in, would highly recommend!

Sorry if I spell your name wrongly Misza, but I love your rock chick attitude. Location is as good as it gets in possibly the most normal beautiful city in Poland. Ok: Wroclaw, Poznan, Torun, Lublin - all fine; but Gdansk has maybe that maritime quality like Glasgow which attracts with architecture and open attitude. A matter of opinion; still: a review is what one thinks. So: wonderful dorm to wake up in the morning to. I think the reputation of this place already attracts a cosmopolitan crowd. Germans, Russians, Spanish, Irish. The odd Scottish idiot sometimes. I just want to add positive to what is already good about this place: relaxed common area, decent salami/cheese/toast breakfast, clean loos. Inexpensive. You can watch DVDs. First time I ever saw Skyfall: waoh! Great place. There are other nice hostels in Gdansk. But this is as good as any. And if your beard/hair is getting out of trim: a decent frizeur across the alley. Mainly, though, and I'm not dissing others: a very good choice. Enjoy.

Room Tip: Whether you're single or a couple, the views are simply romantic across the river
