Took me a few minutes to work out what I was looking at. There are a few interesting things but one visit is enough.

Hard to find the entrance. It's part of the main building in the centre of the square outside the Cloth Hall. You can buy your tickets in advance as places are limited. It's not your normal museum but worth a visit and it's all undetground

Interactive museum that combines the old ruins they found of the middle ages with the technology of today. We did not take a guide, but i think it would've been even nicer if you take a guide that tells you more about what you see.

Surprisingly extensive, the excavations of the medieval market contain lots of interactive displays which allow you to go into as much (or as little) detail as you wish. It is possible to get a complete overview of the city especially if you keep going to the end of the display where there are a series of interesting videos. We were pleasantly surprised.

It took some time to figure out where to buy tickets (on the other side of the Clothmarket) and to get someone to put our backpack in storage (3 people behind a desk an only 1 working), but then we were in for a treat. What an amazing exhibit.
Excavations of the area underneath the Rynek started in 2005 and lasted several years. They preserved a lot of what they found in this underground, state of the art museum. You learn a lot about medieval Cracow and its connections with other cities.
You can spend several hours here, there are a lot of artefacts on display and also lots of touchscreens with loads of information and several films.
