It was my first trip to Poland and I was a little apprehensive but my fears were unfounded (at least in relation to the hotel). The receptionist greeted us and served us colas and cherry volka as he gave us recommendations for our trip and happily answered my questions.
The suite was a little cold but well appointed and was comfortable. Even though we didn't have a kitchen, we had a kettle and fridge so I could warm up with a cup of tea. The bathroom is generously portioned and the shower is a decent size (as they're normally too small so you keep bumping your limbs on the walls. It could do with a bit more space to put your bathroom stuff on and it does feel muggy as there's no fan.
Breakfast was fab and sets you up for the day. If you're heading to Auschwitz (which takes up most of the day) then this would be perfect. It has a good selection foods from freshly cooked eggs, a range of vegetables, toast, pastries, cold cuts, salmon (quite rare in a buffet), cereals and fresh fruit. Even a smoothie which made a welcome alternative from juice.
It's located 10 mins from the bus and train station which is attached to the shopping centre. Old town is about 15 mins walk. It's a great place to stay if you're in town.
