We came to Zakopane to hike in the Tatra Mountains and we needed somewhere comfortable as a base. Klimkowka provided all our needs. It is a small but beautifully constructed pine log cabin in a quiet location. During the week we stayed in Zakopane we had mixed weather, sometimes very wet, but it was always a pleasure to return to this little cabin and chill out. Zakopane is a very busy place in July, so popular hiking trails are saturated with people. An early morning start or a short journey into nearby Slovakia allows you to escape the crowds.
We would like to thank our hosts, Greg and Ola, for making our stay in Zakopane so enjoyable. Greg is a mountain guide and his knowledge of the Tatra Mountains is exemplary. He organised one of our most enjoyable trips, to Kasprowe Wierch, and he was always available when we needed help or advise. We would recommend Klimkowka to anyone wishing to explore the Tatra Mountains from Zakopane.

Amazing hut with all what you need. It's clean and well maintained. The owners are very helpful and had suggestions for all our needs. You can do BBQ (if the weather allows it) and just enjoy the amazing view.
The place is quite close to the main street.
I would certainly come back!

The cottage is located in a quiet area of Zakopane, but yet a 7 minute walk takes you to the busy Krupowki street. So close to the Tatra National Park. Grzegorz and Aleksandra are sure to make your stay a memorable one. Grzegorz is a qualified guide. We made use of his guiding excellent services for trekking on the mountains. Definitely an experience to be remembered and worth every penny. We have nothing but words of praise for Klimkowka and cannot be thankful enough for having been there.

We traveled with family and friends all the way from Turkey to Poland zakopane and stayed in Klimkowka. It was such a nice house with all the equipments we would need. So lovely owners and very helpful. The neighborhood was very nice and not too distant to the main Krupowki street, we enjoyed walking every day. Such a nice place to stay and we hope we come back again.

Fabulous, charming, convenient, great hosts, what can I say! I picked it because of the photo, how can you resist. It was clean and comfortable and located in a lovely backyard setting in a nice neighborhood. Family and I stayed here during the Highlanders (Gorale) Music and Dance Festival in August.

Klimkówka is an absolutely fantastic holiday home that is perfect for any season of the year. It is in a quiet residential part of Zakopane, but within a ten minute walk you can reach the main pedestrianised Krupowki Street which is bustling with shops, bars and lots of lovely restaurants. Walk the other way and a few minutes will bring you to the impressive Tatra National Park.

Klimkówka is only a couple of years old and of course is in wonderful condition. Although new, it still has an abundance of character and personality inside and out. All the rooms are very well equipped to a high standard and are really comfortable.

Grzegorz our next door neighbour and owner of accommodation added the personal touch to our holiday. Although we knew what we wanted to do on our return visit, Grzegorz assisted us with arrangements (transfers to and from Zakopane) and lots of information to ensure our holiday went smoothly. This knowledge and experience was available whenever we needed it and we were also privileged to visit many interesting places that we did know existed.

An absolutely superb holiday and we look forward to returning again soon!
