Very good memories from the week end in Karpacz ! The hotel was nice, the staff very pleasant.
The only reason I give a score of 3/5 is about the breakfast wich was nothing special , and also the temperature of the spa was a bit low.
Apart of that I would recommend it ! The view was amazing and that was the most important !

This hotel was booked as part of a promotion for the winter holiday season and it was advertised as B&B with evening BUFFET dinner.
On arriving for our evening meal, we were offered a choice of...
Ist course: Vegetable soup or no soup.
2nd course: Pirogi (boiled to disintegration) or fried chicken. Both came with a carrot and pea mixture that looked like something the dog had vomited back up. And frozen chips.
3rd course:Powdered budin or nothing.
The hotel advertises itself as a health spa but seemed to have decided that cost cutting on the restaurant was an option rather than putting on a healthy meal. They really should be ashamed to have offered such a poor standard of food. With all honesty, this was the worst meal I can remember being offered in Poland.
A hotel's reputation stands or falls on the way it's guested are treated, regardless of whether they are paying full tariff or accepting a promotion. Unfortunately their reputation fell badly in this instance. It was shameful the way that management felt they could supply such awful food to any guest.
To call the person who sent this food out a chef would do injustice to the profession, I would say the cook also needs to be replaced.
I find it impossible to recommend this hotel.
To top it all in the evening the bathroom drains gave off an obnoxious smell.
The best I can say is the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel looks almost new, with a large car park for easy access.

When in Karpacz with kids do consider 2 potoki. It is a very good family selection.

Let me start off with a few small things I recommend to improve:
- Poor coffee in the morning. Do offer a cup of good coffee from the bar in the morning. People will come over in the afternoon for more (and will pay for it :))
- For breakfast bit more creative with the options. Eating 7 days the same set is a bit boring. Still everything was tasty and good to see some quick wins with kids (sausage, egg, cereal)
- do extend the bar options with some snacks. People would go down for an apple pie or snack. The restaurant is nice, use it potential :)
- The premium rooms with a small kitchen could and should have a small fridge. Otherwise the rooms was really nice.
- Cleaning, there were some issues in the first days. Looked like the staff forgot to clean the rooms. After 3 days and 2 short discussions on the reception everything was smooth.
- Positive friendly ladies at the reception.

Now for the pros:
- It's a modern, new hotel with nice exterior/interior architecture.
- Nice dining room, cool lobby and spacious rooms
- Hotel is nicely located with a big free parking and loads of space for kids.
- The external playground is a plus
- he interior kids area was an asset, had various toys to choose from.
- Owners, if you ever read this :), please DO BUY WOODEN toys that are great with kids and really cheap in your neighborhood.
- The food is really good. Breakfast options are rather limited, but the quality of food solid
- Free Wi-Fi.
- People working were young, friendly and helpful.
- Free bikes for rent
- And YES, there is a small pool to relax with sauna's.
- Well priced SPA

All in all, for a "package" stay in the peak of the season, the value for money was v.good. Good to see more "resorts" of this quality available. This will keep quality up and prices should not spike.
