A small unique museum. We saw cool 3D pictures of India. Today, Thursday, was free entry. You sit down and watch the pictures, about 15-20 minutes.

Hidden away off the main square at the back of a courtyard you'd be forgiven for missing it.
Don't go in expecting too much, there's one room with a central column that you sit at and look through a view finder that shows you two identical picture that make an almost 3D image of various places from old Warsaw, it won't take long as there's only 50 or so photos but it's quirky and it's cheap too, like less than £1.

We visited it due to good tripadvisor rating, with big expectations. It is not bad, but also not great...you can view some pictures about old warsow, but they do not have a story or some details...

Quite nice photo exhibition of wartime Warsaw. There is not really a whole lot to do or see except for the photos but it sure is nice to see only if you are nearby...don't go out of the way to visit because you could be disappointed since it only takes about 15 minutes to see them all. The cost is very cheap though...only 4 pln (1 euro) per person.

Photoplasticon, was invented in Germany in the second half of the 19th century. Formerly a window on the world, now a worldwide phenomenon, a relic of the past and an unusual tourist attraction.
The Warsaw Photoplasticon is unique as it's the only one in the world which is still located at its initial setting, that is in the backyard of 51 Jerusalem Avenue, 5 minutes walk from CENTRUM
We sit on one of the chairs, put our eyes to the binoculars and let the three-dimensional pictures produced by a special dual-lens camera take us to the different world. Apart from sentimental snapshots of Warsaw in the early 20th century, the Photoplasticon offers pictures of London, Moscow, Namibia, Albania, Japan and much, much more.
Admission is very cheap (around 5 zl), so just go there and look how fabulous Warsaw were before the wars
