As we had our dinner last night at "Frittolini" we wanted to try the Pasta/Risotto Scampi at the restaurant on the same lovely square. Maybe it's lost in translation on the menu but in Holland scampi are big shrimp. On our (delicious!) pasta and risotto was a angry crawfish looking at us with his beady eyes ;) and in the dish there was crawfishflesh. So we had to buckle down and crack the poor crawfish (which was easier for me than for my poor boyfriend who doesn't like his food looking at him) The food was delicious, we paired it with some fresh tomato-salad and a half litre wine and a big beer for 35 euros (including tip) and we got a Grappa from the house! Yum! Only thing: they give you a basket of bread before you get your food but no olive oil or salt so it's just dry bread... all in all a lovely meal at a cute square with lots to see!
