Stayed with my husband and single lady friend. Worked really well. Apartment was large, clean, everything we wanted in the kitchen. Nice balcony from both sitting room and bedroom. Quiet, little traffic noise because rooms faced into a courtyard. 2 good sized bedrooms all modern and clean. Generally a fabulous location. Eating and transport within 2 minutes. Good personal car escort back to airport at reasonable cost. Friendly staff. Will certainly stay again.Good price too.

I travelled a lot to Budapest since 5 years ago. When I found Aaacfa Holiday apartment last year and I found my home as well office! Why?
1). Best location, 5 min. to metro station Blaha and just go easily wherever you want.
2). All furnature with IKEA makes you feel confortable.
3). Cook what you want like at home with fully equipment facility.
4). Work efficiently with fast internet connection (free!)
5). Very kind staff. Last time they gave me quite a lot help when my wife was in illness. They can keep very well my luggage for more then 6 months till my next coming.
Just great! I do appreciate Akacfa Holiday!

Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. I like to go there much. In Budapest is a great selection of hotels and apartments. I like to stay in Akacfa Holiday Apartment. The apartments are cozy and homey. The apartments are located in a newly built complex located in the historic Jewish quarter. There are many good entertainment options nearby. Opposite the entrance is The old man pubs, a club that has live entertainment daily. There are also a number of top restaurants at the corner in the Dohany street and Dob street, like Spinoza, Koleves and the recently opened Zara Hotel where you can eat. In the surrounding are many shops and small foodstores opening 24 hours a day. In the apartment there are good beds, a balcony on the courtyard or on the street and a big plus is a wasmachine. There is a good complete kitchen. It is also very nice i can ask for more keys of the apartment. So i am not indending for staying together. The apartment is just around the corner of the Blaha Square, which is the main hub of the city, with bus stops for trams, buses and metero, to the main attractions. Even at night put a lot of night buses on this square, 2 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment also has free wireless internet and a television. At the office staff is always friendly present that much information about the city and always willing to help me. I very recommend this apartement. I hope te come back soon!

We saw all the great reviews and decided to give it a try for about a weeks stay in Budapest.
This Apartment Hotel has dual personalities, during the week its ok. BUT on the weekends there are groups of young men & women (20 somethings) that rent it and party into the early morning. On Friday and Saturday nights there were parties every night. I can see why a group would rent the apartment, get 4 - 6 people in one apartment and it becomes dirt cheap on a per person basis. The apartment comes with a refrigerator for your party trays and beverages. We were serenaded at 1am with a bad rendition of "Born in the USA", the parties spread into the halls and around the large central staircase near the elevators and returning home from dinner you run the gauntlet of inebriated young adults asking you about things too personal for discussion among strangers. If you have kids not the trip home you'd prefer.
Other than this the other complaint I have is that we rented a studio apartment for 5 nights and were not aware that the bed would be a sofabed (2 inch mattress on cold pipes that pull out from under the sofa). Not the most comfortable sleep when the bar in the middle keeps your pelvis higher than both your head and feet.
This is not a Hotel, its a management company renting out apartment units for short-term stays. This means that there is no one there after business hours. They have an emergency number for you to call, but you will need your own phone as there is none in the apartment (i.e. couldn't call about the noise at night and hoped that someone with a phone would call). Also, you need to have the address when looking for the place. There is no sign that is readily visible from the street. When you get into the Apartment entry way you see a sign on the wall by the intercom with the information. There actually seems to be 3 or more management companies that are operating in this building. You call the apartment that is their office and they buzz you in. Then give you your apartment key and off you go. No one to take your luggage, in case you are a high maintenance traveler.
The staff were very helpful and can provide you with all sorts of sightseeing advice and tickets. They actually were exceptional, but were not onsite after hours.
I'm not recommending this because there are too many "ifs" when making this decision...If you are in your 20's and want to stay with your buddies and have a cheap place to party on the weekend then this is for you. If you are not in your 20's then...if its a weekday and if you don't mind a sofabed then fine, if you have kids better off only on the weekdays and give them the sofabed (I'm assuming that the 1 bedroom units have a real bed in the room).
Also, there was a construction project going on in the back of the building and if you are not an early riser plan to be awaken with power tools. Not sure when the construction will end, but they had temporary buildings brought in so it may be a while.
We really liked having a kitchen as we do coffee in the mornings and tea at night and cheaper European hotels don't provide tea/coffee service.
The place itself was clean and roomy and would be recommended if it wasn't for the weekend noise and sofabed.
Also one of the recommended restaurants for local cuisine in the apartment's booklet is the Kispipa restaurant down the street. Check your bill the waitress pads it with additional taxes and service charges if you are a tourist!

Great apartments. We had a spacious apartment with a big bed, big bathroom and great kitchen. It was nice to have the balcony as well. It was all very clean and the staff couldn't have been more accomodating and friendly! It was great. To be pedantic there were a few things falling apart, handles on doors, the shower holder etc but it didn't bother us that much.

Close to the metro, lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Close walk into the main street and an easy walk to the park and sechnyi baths.

Again the staff were lovely - so helpful, friendly and nice to us!!! Best staff I have encountered!!

We found Akacfa apartments on the last leg of our holiday in Budapest. It was very relaxing and brought great comfort to us after staying in very small living quarters with my aunt. We are definitely going to come back and stay at the Akacfa Holiday Apartments. It is very affordable and has all of the amenities and comforts of home. The staff is incredible and very helpful.
Thank You to the Staff of Akacfa Holiday Apartments.
