This is a cheap restaurant if you go between 12 and 3’o clock, however, the foods taste average and not that much good. The staff were polite and nice but be careful when they bring the bill. The second time I visited them, it was an extra item on my bill which I didn’t have!

I was with 12 friends having dinner in this great restaurant. I reserved it via email and the owner answered really quickly and managed one day in advance to have space for so many people. The waiter was really nice and even though the restaurant was full he took all the time to get our orders. The food was great we had a really great stay there! I would recommend everybody to go there since the place has good hungarian food, perfect service and a nice venue! We loved our stay there and would definitely go again.

This is really nice okace with delicious loval cuisine for good prices. Disadvantage is really slow service we ve been waiting 45 mins fot the bill. There are not too many places to sit. Better to make the reservatuon.

Although one the staffs was a bit unfriendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. We order cheese soup and fish soup. For the main course we ordered goose liver and legs and both of them was delicious but the liver was a bit salty. About the drink we got two lemonade, one of them was great another one was not so good and it seems it had more water instead if lemon.
Totally we will suggest it to others.

I found Regos while doing a google search on "Hungarian restaurants where Hungarians eat." Several blocks from the nearest mass transit, you will turn onto the short side street and think you've taken a wrong turn. Regos is just about the only business on a nondescript little street--and what a find!

We made a reservation via email, which worked fine. Perhaps it is required, as a waitstaff member standing outside smoking as we entered acted like he was about to not let us in! I said we had a reservation, and then all was fine.

Inside the curved, brick-covered ceiling give a cellar effect that is very charming. We had a nice table in the corner. The menu has many interesting selections in all the categories, and we all enjoyed our meal. The cheese soup with celery and mushroom paprikash with noodles was delicious. The service was courteous and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was pure Hungarian: reserved and quiet, yet casual and comfortable.

And to top it off, the prices were very reasonable. We had dinner for four including soups, two desserts, and two bottles of wine for less than $25 per person. We will be back!
