Description: In business for over 10 years, Walzer Café is an independent courtyard cafe located inside a 700 year old building in the heart of Budapest's historic Castle district. There is no shortage of cafes in the Castle but if you are looking for something off the beaten path with a quiet intimate setting then look no further than Walzer! We encourage you to come & get off your feet, get together with friends, catch up on reading, or even strike up a conversation with a local regular during your stay in our lovely city. At Walzer Café, we pride ourselves on providing excellent service & one of the best cups of coffee this side of the Danube. You can find us down the street from Matthias Church & the Hilton Hotel, as you head towards the Vienna Gate (Bécsi Kapu). We look forward to welcoming you!

Small cafe with blankets and heaters, good toasties and cakes. Young woman was very nice serving us, and a short walk from the bastion.

Excellent cakes (we had salted caramel and carrot), very friendly staff and a very cosy setting near the Fishermens Bastion.

This adorable must-see cafe has the best chai latte I’ve ever had. Who would have thought?! Not only was the latte good, the cafe was able to accommodate 3 friends with different food allergies and dietary restrictions (dairy allergy, gluten allergy, vegan). On top of that, the two women who own the shop make you feel like family. They are so sweet and the cafe is a lovely place to visit. Also very convenient for anyone near the Fisherman’s Bastion. Highly recommend!

Found this Café on TripAdvisor.
This place met my expectations.
Got very delicious Sandwiches, mulled wine and Chai Latte. Everything is recommendable.

The soul and spirit of the Cafe is the owner, a very nice lady, who takes the time to chat with you.
