We booked Kempinski Budapest mainly due to its price and the Nobu restaurant inside the hotel. We found the dinner at Nobu quite disappointing, but lunch was certainly very good (the udon was great at reasonably priced).
The location of the hotel is very good. it's right next to the british embassy. Lots of restaurants, bars and shopping are within walking distance. And it's not too far of a walk to all the tourists attractions neither.
Room itself is pretty standard, nothing really jump out to surprise you, but the amenities are aging and should be upgraded.
I would certainly come back given the combination of price, location and service. Hopefully, the hotel receives some upgrades in the future and replaces some its older appliances. Overall, a good hotel to stay in Budapest.
