Such a beautiful place with amazing views of the city and has to be seen to be believed. There are shops there for refreshment and souveneirs. Was very hot in July but we also found some shade in a small area with trees adjacent.

Thank dehnaz

I loved this place. It actually looks more like a fairy tale castle but actually it was built as a viewing terrace with look out towers. Halaszbastya(Fishermans Bastion) has a wide dramatic entrance stairs-perfect for some pictures. There are 7 towers representing the tribes of Magyar. There is a statue of KIng Stephen at the centre.
There was a guy with a Bird(Falcon/hawk not sure) and he was letting you take the bird on your hand for pictures.
The viewing on some parts is free but for the viewing walls there is a fee. There is a cafe here. Also Starbucks is nearby.
Great views of the Pest side( Hungarian parliament and the Danube river)

A very nice and imposing building high up with excellent views across the city
It has great history and interest and it is worth using one of the small buses to get you up to it

This is just a section of a much bigger and historical area of Buda. Definitely recommend getting a guide to explain its significance. It's a gorgeous location that overlooks the Danube. Great spot for taking cute pictures. It's a very popular spot so be prepared for moderate to heavy crowds.

Great historical site of Budapest with amazing panoramic views. The entry price for the Bastion only is 1500 Forint. Can be a bit crowded I guess but it is totally worth it. After enjoying the view and taking some pictures, walk around the Castle Hill and explore the different sights and check out the view on the other side of the hill. Must do.
