The only reason why I am giving this place an average rating is that we went to the castle thinking it was free to go and see the exhibition. We were wrong but didn't want to pay for to see the place because we would have to stay on to make it worthwhile. We were rushing to the market but I will be prepared next time if I do go back. The views from the Castle down to to the city is spectacular and we came down using an old-fashioned elevator. Great place to visit for taking in the views.

i didnt really get to explore much of the Buda Castle area as i arrived there pretty late (4ish) and it was raining. Went up by the funicular as i was too lazy to walk up but there is also a ‘shuttle’ from bus stop nearest to the funicular that brings u up to Buda Castle for a small fee. Tried to visit the museums but it was already closed so i just went around enjoying the view from the top. Its really a big area so u might wanna come early and explore !

This is definitely the first place to see when you are in Budapest. breathtaking architecture with a lot of things to see. just make sure to avoid public holidays and Christmas when you are visiting this place because it will be extremely crowded.

You have two options to get to the Buda Castle. One is go by the elevator, two is go on foot. If you're in the mood to walk until you die, go by foot. Otherwise, go by the elevator. It's cheap and saves you a lot of time. The place itself takes about one or two hours to know. I didn't get in cause I was out of time, but the next time i go there I'll certainly do a longer tour.

This is a beautiful building with lots of history and some amazing sites over Budapest! ( great pics to take) there’s so much to see here and if your having a day of site seeing then you have to go here! The number 16 bus from the pest side will take you straight up to the top! There’s lots of little bits of art to see and loads of walkways across walls etc!
