My wife & I visited Budapest for 3 nights, over the Easter period of 2018. We came across this church, whilst on route to the Fisherman's Bastion. This church impressed us (from the outside) as it is both unusual and beautiful. Highly recommended.

Thank Art M

Very unusual tilework and unlike any churches one is used to seeing. Stunning on a good sunny day and at night. Beautiful views atop the bell tower and from the bastion.

Worth going inside to see the decoration, which is EVERYWHERE. Impressive stained glass and painted walls...a real gem.

The exterior is really interesting - the roof is colourful. The inside is interesting - there's a range of different patterned decoration and there's a lot less gold than is usually found in churches!

A must while visiting Budapest
Historical building surrounding by other impressive constructions as fishermen walls buda castle etc
Panoramic view of the town with many restaurants and coffee shops to spend at least half of your day
Take small shuttle bus going up the top and not teleferic since you pay the same but you have the luxury to move from one location to another
