A gorgeous Church with interesting history-Read about Mary Wonder(1686),Turks occupation and construction.

The unique diamond shaped colorful ceramic tiles are eye catching. There is a tower adjacent which was added during King Mathias Cornivus reign.

There is an entrance fee to the church.
Visitors are advised to cover shoulders and thighs. No hats allowed. No pets allowed.Just the normal regulations for visiting a worship place.

My wife & I visited Budapest for 3 nights, over the Easter period of 2018. We came across this church, whilst on route to the Fisherman's Bastion. This church impressed us (from the outside) as it is both unusual and beautiful. Highly recommended.

Very unusual tilework and unlike any churches one is used to seeing. Stunning on a good sunny day and at night. Beautiful views atop the bell tower and from the bastion.

Worth going inside to see the decoration, which is EVERYWHERE. Impressive stained glass and painted walls...a real gem.

The exterior is really interesting - the roof is colourful. The inside is interesting - there's a range of different patterned decoration and there's a lot less gold than is usually found in churches!
