The room was a bit dated, but it was comfortable and clean. The city centre location was ideal, although a little hard to find. It is close the tram stop and a short walk from the station.

One of the staff also spoke good English.

We were on a budget and as a result this hotel comfortably meet our needs.

+ PROS
Staff is very kind, location rules.
- CONS
Beds are extremely hard and short, even for a budget hotel. Some of them are even very creaky. Bed sheets are even shorter than the beds. Under the pillow you get the naked mattress. They have no soundproofing either, we woke up at 4AM to a long chat between two men, which lasted to 6,30AM. It was probably the staff chit-chating, since the noise came from their room... In the morning, you could smell the burnt omelette all over the lobby, which is a breakfast saloon also.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with better soundproofing, if you don't want to wake up at 4AM, because of the chatting of the staff.

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for only one night and everything was ok! Not that far from the hotel, there is a very big hall with a huge choice of fresh fruits and vegetables!! Highly recommended!! And close to this hall, there is a small place, where they make very delicious LANGOS!

The location of the Stop Panzio is right in the downtown of Debrecen yet in a very quiet place. Walking distance from all needed spots in the center. Many smalls shops and cafes around.
Our room had a big balcony with a table and chairs so we enjoyed tea there.
The room wasn't big but absolutely enough for two people. The bathroom, the room, the balcony were very clean. The receptionist is very polite and friendly. We didn't need breakfast so I don't know about their food but all the rest is perfect for a traveler who needs a place to stay, not a luxury apartment for leisure.
If I am in Debrecen again - I'll surely stay in the same place again.

Room Tip: we had room#2, it has a very nice big balcony with flowers, a table and chairs

Stop Panzio is definitely a place where one can make a base for a short visit of Debrecen. Its location is indeed great and the staff too. It's basically very simple, family run accommodation with its charm. The rooms are spacious, but the way the building is constructed allows the sounds from the neighboring rooms to be heard and the beds are somewhat uncomfortable to a certain degree. Anyway, stay for a night or two in Debrecen, Stop Panzio is a definitely a place to book.
