I have to say, if it hadn't been for Google Street View, I never would have believed that the narrow, winding lane we drove up went anywhere but into the bush. However, we topped off in a beautiful (rather slanted) parking courtyard, with several beautifully crafted Alpine-style buildings perched around. The interiors were even more wonderfully detailed. There was a good restaurant on the premises, and when we asked for a "local" wine, the waiter pointed to the vineyard just over the balcony railing and said "Is that local enough for you?" The wine was 1 euro a glass, and it was very good.
