This guesthouse in the Old Town section of Klaipeda is lovely. My room was big, almost an apartment, it had a tremendous bathroom, and the breakfasts were made to order. The staff were very nice and the entire place was spotless. It was, I think, the nicest place I stayed on my tour of the Baltics.
BUT -- the central location poses a problem for those who like peace and quiet. Lithuanians love their outdoor cafes and they love their live music. AND they love to party (as the child of Lithuanians, I think I can make this generalization). That meant on a Friday night a live band played some 50 metres from the hotel and partiers whooped it up until the wee hours of the morn. If you don't have earplugs, you better be out there partying too because you're not going to sleep.
There are, apparently, no noise bylaws in Klaipeda.
