29th January 2017. Dinner. In the Old Town. High heavily beamed ceiling. Tables well spaced. Quite bright lighting, so not such an intimate atmosphere. Very nice waitress - who was about to go to Rome for a week to represent Estonia in Floorball (not Football - Floorball). This was the best meal of our holiday in Tallinn. A nice glass of Pinot Grigio and focaccia bread with lovely olive oil and balsamic vinegar to begin with. Starter (shared between the 2 of us) - Prawn tails with a tomato and chilli sauce - wow, delicious. Mains - we both had the lamb cutlets with chilli and garlic potato wedges with rosemary, and grilled marinated veg. Again delicious. Fab bottle of (expensive) red - Barbera d"Alba Zio Nanda Rivera 2012 - beautiful and perfect with the lamb. Pudds - creme brulee - cooked perfectly, and tiramisu - v good. Excellent meal and great service from our Floorball waitress.
