“perfect hotel in the heart of Tallinn”
Reviewed 2 March 2012

Were satisfied with a location of Nordic Hotel - old city centre, shopping centre, restaurants can be found nearby. Very helpful and friendly reception staff.
Rooms are spacious, modern furnished which were cleaned every day. Also would like to point out the variety of breakfast. It really can satisfy every sophisticated tastes!
Thanks Nordic Hotel for making our stay in Tallinn unforgettable!

This was our last stop on returning from St. Petersburg. We had previously stayed at the Swissotel nearby.

The hotel reception staff were very friendly and seemed very happy - actually a LOT happier than in the Swissotel which was nice.

The room was very comfortable - we loved the 'birckwork' carpet and the floral glass wall in the bathroom. Room service was quick and very delicious. All staff seemed genuinely happy and eager to help.

My only criticism of the room would be minor - that the glass shower screen is a little short so when showering the floor can get a little wet, but I prefer the glass to a shower curtain so I guess this isn't really something to moan about.

Breakfast was very tasty - my only thought here was that the way everything was laid out was a little bit confusing (for an early morning lol) i.e. spoons not located with rest of cutlery.

Overall very good, I would love to stay again :)

Everything said on tripadvisor about this hotel was true. It certainly deserves the rating it has got. Excellent location, lovely rooms, very helpful reception staff. Modern immaculate hotel from start to finish. Well worth day trip to Helsinki at this time of year. An experience not to be missed sailing through ice floes and frozen sea. Also Hell Hunt has very good food at good prices.

Can't really fault anything with this hotel.

It's about a 5 minute walk from the medieval town center, and also a 5 minute walk to Solaris, a large shopping center with many dining options.

The breakfast! Scrumptious! Croissants, danishes, 3 types of bread, cereal, yogurt, filter coffee, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs (5 and 7 min!), meats, cheeses, and even delicious silver dollar pancakes! Everything was fantastic.

Service - very pleasant and attentive staff. Check-in and check-out were painless.

The room was large, with a gigantic "soaker" bath tub! So deep that I was actually able to do a full back float without touching the tub. It was well heated with central-air and everything was very clean. The bed was great - very comfortable with luxury bedding.

I believe some reviews mentioned noise from the main road. I had a room on the 6th floor, and yes - while sleeping you can hear some traffic but it's very light and indistinct. I'm not a very sound sleeper myself, but I can't imagine this would affect someone - but you never know!

In any case I loved this hotel, and to top it all off I was able to get it for a great price of $35 USD pppn.

Highly recommended!

Stayed for 5 nights Bed & Breakfast at the Nordic forum Hotel,Tallin. Excellent hotel, very clean with good facilities. Lounge areas with plenty of comfortable seating and a bar for drinks/snacks open all day and evening. Restaurant used for breakfast had a variety of hot dishes including full English to Danish/Continental options. All of a high quality and continually replenished. The Bedroom/ensuite(warning - glass panel into ensuite) was of a good standard with room thermostat for radiator/fan. The Hotel was in a good position only a few minutes walking distance into the Old Town and being directly opposite a large new modern shopping centre and bus station nearby..
Overall a very good 4* Hotel and would definately use again if visising tallin.

Room Tip: Tip - Vapiona restaurant at side street of cinema/casino for pizza/pasta dishes very reasonable and...

The location of this hotel is great. It is not within the old town city walls, but it is close to everything and in case you come by car the parkng facilities are great. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is very friendly, breakfast is good, and the indoor-pool area is just great. So - what more can you ask for? It has become our favorite hotel in Tallinn and we keep returning time after time. :-)

The rooms were very well kept, nice and clean and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was well stocked and had lots of choices. The staff were very friendly. It is only a couple of minutes walk from Old Town. Overall a wonderful hotel to stay in for sightseeing on foot.

Room Tip: Rooms on floor 8 as that is where the Relax Centre is located.
