Staying at Fazenda we could have foregone the daily venturings outside and had enough to do/enjoy on its grounds (but obviously we had to do the rounds as it was only our first time in Algarve). It's like staying at a good friend's home (luxurious and modern one at that too!) - there is a pool, library, cabanas, patio and even artificial beach areas to hang out and lay back. Ideal for couples - it is one of the most un-hotel like places we've ever stayed at in the best of ways! The team is always happy to help, remember your names and take the time to recommend you with plenty of good ideas with places to go/eat around the area! Cannot recommend it more!

Spent 7 nights at this fabulous country house. Everything about it was great - from the arrival down a curving drive flanked by waving grasses to the friendly staff who were happy to share tips on beaches and restaurants to visit. We stayed in the terrace room - plenty of space and a huge walk in shower with Ren toiletries. The private terrace looked out over the countryside and two loungers were set with fresh towels everyday. The pool area and gardens are beautiful - the imaginative use of grasses, bamboo, olives etc made for lots of lovely relaxing areas.
We usually head out for dinner when on holiday, but the open air dining area and fantastic food had us staying in most nights. Pork with clams was a highlight! A small wine list - but everything we tried we really liked. The breakfasts were also great - buffet style but everything you'd want (bread, croissant, cereal, fruit, yoghurt... and those amazing Portuguese custard tarts). And finally, a word on the cool music that floated through the grounds. Old and new tracks that seemed to fit the mood perfectly!

One of the best places we've stayed !

Gorgeous boutique hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens with paths leading to semi-secluded alcoves. Take your pick from the swinging hammock, outdoor four-post beds or soft cushioned under tree sofas. You might prefer to lounge by the pool or listen to vinyls in the upstairs record room or to go for a cycle ride down country lanes...

The breakfasts are long and generous; the days on any of the gorgeous beaches stretch into the early evening... then head to Fabrica for seafood overlooking the lagoon or have a fish barbecue alongside the road in Fuseta...

Glorious...

Our family spent six nights there ending last week. We moved a lot around the Algarve -which is a really recommended destination, but we could have very well spent all the time in Fazenda Nova: wide rooms with private garden, swimming pool, a welcoming sitting room with plenty of books, magazines and even some 1000 music records!, a restaurant offering limited choices but nicely cooked, and a superb staff (thank you Marisa, Gabriela and Diego) -always 'invisible' but always there to help you. And such peace!!!
Really willing to come back.

From the moment we drove down the drive of Fazenda, we knew we were in for a special weekend. Greeted in the parking area by Gabrielle and shown to our lovely room with private garden. After a wonderful lunch we decided to relax by the pool which was empty as everyone else seemed to be out exploring. The food in the restaurant was excellent cooked for us by Paulo. The next day we were greeted by the owner Tim who gave us directions to a beautiful beach , where we spent the day. On returning we had a few Mojito's made for us by Diego, another of the excellent staff and watched the sunset. Merisse was always around if we needed anything as well.
We have booked to go back already. Cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay and looking forward to returning
