“A stunning colonial house now rarely opened to the public”
Review of Samson House

Samson House
Ranked #58 of 108 things to do in Fremantle
Attraction details
Reviewed January 19, 2018

The National Trust may be protecting this magnificent piece of Fremantle heritage (although rose gardens are looking unkempt) but they are not sharing it with the public.
Occasional open days are your only chance to see its interior plus apparently its original fixtures & furnishings
I have still given it a rating as walking past it this morning there is still much to admire of its exterior

Thank Darrel J

Wow! What a magnificent family home this must have been in it's hay day. Our guide Diana was fantastic. She was very happy, friendly, knowledgable and enthusiastic. She included the young children and I'm sure they learnt a lot. Thanks Diana for the opportunity to fill in some of the gaps in my family history.

It is no longer open to the public so it should be taken off the list of attractions. Pity, it could have been very inteesting.

Unfortunately this historic home is hardly ever open to viewing. it has recently been handed over to the National Trust of WA. inside it has been furnished nicely with items that are appropriate for the time. It is greatly dissapointing that it is currently only open on a Sunday approx. once a month by volunteers.
