I love this museum. Their preservation and presentation of news is fabulous. My son had no idea that journalism was a dangerous job, until we discussed the exhibit showing fallen journalists from just this year. We had a lengthy discussion on the topics covered in the Pulitzer-winning photographs exhibit. There's so much information presented here, it's simply not possible to cover it in a day. Great museum.

So much to see! Loved Concourse level. Spent over 3 hours on this floor alone. Was delighted to find tickets are valid for the day of purchase and day after! Views from 6th floor are amazing. We spent 2 hours on Monday and all day Tues at Newseum. Inhouse coffee shop and restaurant is great value which is amazing considering prices in other museums. They serve Peet’s coffee which was nice surprise. I will be back. If you go, you won’t be disappointed. Wear comfy shoes you will be there for hours. Staff super friendly.

Great museum, really interesting exhibits. If you’re going with young kids they do have a “family room” but it’s pretty lame. It’s a room with 4 armless chairs and a single bathroom.

Buy your tickets in advance on-line and save 15% and good for two days in a row. We did a couple hours and it was great. Top floor has a nice outside view of the Capital. Sections of the Berlin Wall and an actually guard tower from same. A section from one of the World Trade Tower antena. And a very moving video covering that event. Even the after thought of a walk buy exhibit of info posters covering White House pets had some neat facts. Front pages from papers around the world. And if you have time, newspapers from every year in our history it seemed. Might have been $60-70 for our fam of four but worth it to see exhibits w out the Smithsonian free throngs.
