“ The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. “
- Abraham Lincoln

This attraction does not need my review or infact, anyone’s. It is neither gonna change your mind about visiting or not and neither it should.
Who am I to stop you from visiting the 16th American President?

This place should undoubtedly your first attraction inside The National Mall.
Sitting right in front of the reflecting pool, the famous statue of Abraham Lincoln is a sight not to be missed.

As you will climb the famous steps, you will notice him staring at you as you move closer.

I would rate this as one of the MUST-SEE places in D.C no matter what. Haters might say, “its just a statue” but they surely don’t know the history behind it and they definitely don’t know anything about the stud sitting there.

I found myself standing there for minutes as I looked up into his eyes and remembered all the great things he has said and done.

He was indeed a true example of what we call a “ One Man Show “.

The attraction is free and you are allowed to click pictures. Click as many as you want. Just be safe and have a great time at The National Mall.

PS: Give my regards to THE MAN!

I love this memorial. It gives me an opportunity to read the second inaugural address and the Gettysburg address, and reflect on the courage of this great and godly president.

Fabulous to see from a distance. Doubly fabulous up close! The size and scale has to be seen to be believed. Great little info booth under the memorial. Loads of interesting details about the memorial.

Visited the Lincoln Memorial on my family get away trip. Nice walk from the Monument. Place was a bit crowded, but it wasn't a problem.

It’s a landmark of reverence for one of the greatest presidents. A sight to see for all young and old. I’ve been at all times of day but this time was at dusk. But the time we left it was dark and made for some super cool pics outside.
