The apartment is very nice, beautifully decorated, large and comfortable. The experience is similar to a 4 star hotel, but with three bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, two full baths, a living room and dining room. The only difference really is no daily maid service, but in my opinion, daily maid service is overkill. My towels last two to three days and I don't need my bed made or room cleaned daily. The location is four blocks to the convention center and close to restaurants and shops.
We loved this location! Easy walk to the White House, lots of dinner options, and plenty of room for our party of 7. We had some issues that were quickly resolved, and enjoyed our stay in DC!
The accommodations were even better than advertised, 3 bedrooms 2 baths and a kitchen with everything we needed for family meals together. The location was ideal for public transportation to every we came to see. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to DC.
We loved the apartment - spacious, modern and very comfortable for the 5 of us. An easy walk to all the sights, close to subway, museums and White House. It was a perfect apartment in an ideal location. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed in at night and brought in take away - why go out when we had a home away from home?
We stayed in the apartment with our 4 teenaged children. High quality, easy to check in and out, and convenient to everything we wanted to do. We could not have been more satisfied with the apartment itself. The only drawback for us (hence 4 instead of 5 stars) was the parking. We were notified about 2 weeks prior to arriving that our car could no longer be accommodated at the apartment. The managers offered several alternative parking options, one of which is behind the building at the Washington Plaza. This was convenient, but the hotel charged us $45 / day as we were not hotel guests. Bottom line: if you don't have a car, this is a wonderful place to stay. If traveling with a car, make sure you understand your parking options and cost beforehand.
