Weekend at Motto in DC

Hotel was very clean. Covid restrictions in place (cleaning/elevator/staff/guests). Location is very good. Although limited, breakfast and coffee was nice. Given the current Covid restrictions, I felt that the accommodations and services were above average.

First trip to DC!

The staff was amazing and the hotel was clean and accommodating. Teresa and the rest were lovely and very helpful! Teresa!! She was a joy to talk to and was very helpful! The rooms are small, but we knew that ahead of time. They were clean and easy to maintain temperature in

Outstanding Experience and Theresa was Exceptional

Theresa was exceptional on every level. She checked us in and assisted us with every aspect of our stay from parking directions dos and don'ts, tips on how to get around, reccomending the best restaurants to enjoy, etc. She is the definition of hospitality and was an exceptionally friendly and gracious host.

Barely bare minimum

Due to an event in DC, the price for this room was way too high for the accommodations. The room was smaller than a cruise ship room. If you're claustrophobic, do not even consider this hotel. The room is micro and the bathroom "door" is 1 ft from the bed and it does not have a seal so if you're traveling with anyone, I hope you're very comfortable with each other. The bed was also small and uncomfortable. Parking is in a garage which is around the block and charges about $25/day. The staff however was incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant and whiskey bar downstairs seem nice but thanks to the Mayor of DC, all of that was closed during our stay. I would not stay here again.

Great Location to Everything if the City Shuts Down the Streets for Bug Events

Front desk help and check in, 10!
Lobby and elevator security, 10!
COVID conscience, 10!
Room Cleanliness, 10!

Close to METRO station, parking garage around the corner, GREAT assortment of restaurants!

Best hidden deal, restaurant around the corner (1 block) with a KICK BUTT happy hour deal. Check out the THE YARD, you can order food online days in advance, pay in advance, set the time to walk up and get great HAPPY HOUR deals and a growler of good beer. We got 2 pizzas, sliders and onion rings and 64 oz beer growler.
