Tried the Panang Curry tonight at Haad. The peanut sauce base was tasty, but the portion size was smallish and the five pieces of broccoli gracing the side of the plate were colder than room temperature. My fellow diners had the Pad Thai and fried rice dishes. Those were good but far from the best we've had. The chicken satay appetizer however was a real gem.
The restaurant was strangely quiet. For a Wednesday night at peak dinner dinner rush hours, in its prime location, we were surprised to see that only one other table had guests. Here's hoping for a better experience next time.
