we stay in the hotel for six nights in a two bedroom room. the room was nice, clean and very comfortable. the beds are also very comfortable. The hotel lobby is nice and modern but kind of sterile. The room had three tv's wich for a family of five is perfect. it has kitchen and washing and drying machines. however, housekeeping service was inconsistent an the desk clerks, especially Taho and the indian guy were unpleasant and rude. location is nice since it is one block from the white house. saturdays and specially sundays the area is dead. there is a very nice place to eat three blocks from the hotel named Founding Fathers. it is very popular so make reservations. No food in the hotel. au pain quotidiane and a new Paul Bakery also very close. it also very close to the Farragut Metro stations.
