leave my luggage at the hotel

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 30, 2016
I have a question, I booked a room at Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters, on September 3th . The problem is the check-in time is not until 3pm :( Is there a way I can leave my luggage at the hotel and then come back later????I would hate to just sit around and wait until 3pm to check in so I can leave my luggage in the room.Same thing with check out time is at 12pm, I wouldn't be leaving until 6pm. Will the hotel hold it as well?
Thank you!

Hi, thanks for your question. We do have a secure place to store luggage until you're ready to retrieve them and even better, if a room is available when you arrive, we'll check you in right then and there. Have a safe trip and we look forward to seeing you on September 3.

Nice room. The rooftop bar was a bit odd but I was there on business and not pleasure so it wasn't a big issue. The restaurant food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Hint: don't take their cab

Thank you for staying at the Beacon Hotel, we're glad you've enjoyed your room and the restaurant. Thanks for providing a tip to future guests although we are a little puzzled as the hotel does not own or operate a cab. There are plenty of cabs available that drive around the hotel for guest convenience but if you're not keen on cabs, fortunately, we are very close to public transportation as an alternative. We look forward to welcoming you back.

The hotel is close to the White House. Ten minutes on foot. It is equally distant from Dupont Cirlce. Public transport is close. The room is large and clean. Breakfast is good, the price is acceptable. The staff is friendly

I enjoyed my stay here. All staff were really friendly and you have the option to have a fridge in your room (from travelling around USA I discovered it is normal not to have a kitchenette or fridge in hotel rooms), so this was a welcome nice surprise, was able to have drinks and fresh food in the fridge during the stay. Rooms were quite large, and loved the location. Good value for money.

We certainly look forward to welcoming you back.

The hotel is well located and is in a central location that allows you to access sights such as the whitehouse and dupont circle by foot within about 10-15mins. Other sites would require a longer walk. There is a subway station about 10mins walk away that. Additionally i used uber , especially with the summer heat. I liked the fact that it's location made it easy to get to attractions or restaurants in various directions. Its located near the start of embassy row which has some amazing properties.

The hotel is large and appears to predominantly cater for business. The rooms were quite big and had very effective air conditioning, safe, comfortable bed, tv, decent storage space. The bathroom was sizeable with a bath tub/shower combination. It was a comfortable room. The staff were very good and friendly.

The one negative is that wifi isn't free ($12 per day) which is rare in hotels these days. Regardless of the rational it should be included. If in need and dont want to pay then Starbucks is free along with alot of cafes.

Overall i enjoyed my stay here and for the right deal would stay again.
