Strolling Amador City we were looking for a light lunch in a place with character. We got the latter aplenty but our tasty meals were more than ample. The simple deck towards the rear provides not just great al fresco accommodations (there's space inside, too) but a front seat to the chef's exertions as he works his way along several grills and griddles. His output was delicious! We devoured the perfectly grilled ribeye with sautéed onions and mushrooms sandwich and a delicious Ploughman's Platter topped with cold roast lamb. A great place to enjoy an honest freshly prepared lunch in a unique atmosphere.
