After reading so many rave reviews here I confidently booked a room. I was almost worried my expectations were set too high, but the Ayres Hotel really is as great as everyone says. I'm not sure when it was built, but it still looks brand new - inside and out. If you've read the other reviews then you already know the staff is great and the hot breakfast is delicious. The chef prepares eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns, and pancakes in front of you. They also have your basic continental breakfast if you're looking for something to grab and go.

The rooms are larger than the average chain hotel (we had a 2 queen room). We liked that the bathroom and separate sink area are behind a partial wall, with the sink vanity lights facing the room entrance. This is really nice if you have an early riser with you because they can get ready without shining light on those still in bed. Plus the room had a partial kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, and sink. The beds were comfortable and were topped with soft and firm pillows. Housekeeping was great. The room (and entire hotel) was very clean and our towels were changed everyday.

They're on the green bandwagon - there's a slot for your hotel key card next to the light switch that turns off the lights and fan when you take it out to leave.

We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub several nights and thought the temperature was perfect. We would have gone out there every night, but it closes at 10pm. There's also a decent size pool.

It's located next to a freeway, the Honda Center, and Angel Stadium. Our room overlooked the Honda Center and we had no noise issues at all. We even took in a Ducks game since we just had to walk across the street. It's only 2 miles from Disneyland parking. We drove to the Hollywood area a few different days during our stay and that was usually at least a 45 minute drive.

The Ayres Hotel is an excellent value. You just can't match what you get for your money compared to other area hotels. Also note that parking is free and there are no added fees!

This is our 2nd stay at the Aryes Anaheim Hotel in the last year. The first time was a pleasure trip to Disneyland, and it worked perfected for us with the included breakfast and free parking. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the Hotels surrounding Disneyland, but close enough to be less than 10 minutes from the Disney parking lot. The 2nd stay was a week long for a business trip. Rooms are cleaned and it seemed our room was away from families and kids which was a nice bonus. Front desk was more than helpful, and we enjoyed the nightly happy hour. My wife was without a car, but daily the hotel van took her to the local shopping center and Movie Theater. Great breakfast, Great service, and a clean room which all add up to a great place to stay.

Even though the decor was a little over the top with Victorian decor for me, the staff was useful, food was good and rooms were clean, nice place centrally located to Disneyland and baseball field. The food was fresh and the cooking staff was very nice. We are not smokers, and perhaps they should clean out the butts outside. We would most defiantly stay there again.

The Ayres Anaheim is likely the nicest hotel I have stayed in. The excellent service meets the highest standards, and the hotel has every amenity needed for a comfortable stay! My brother and his family stayed at this hotel last year and recommended it to us, and we would highly recommend it to everyone. The Ayres name is synonymous with quality, and they obviously value their reputation as a unique boutique hotel.

The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Before we could even check in, I ran into the hotel with two small children who desperately needed the restroom after a long car trip, and staff at the front desk didn't hesitate to show us very quickly to the restroom in the hotel. This attitude exemplified the staff's attention to customer's needs and their dedication to the guest's comfort. In fact, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. What a terrific commitment to customer service!

The hotel has every amenity that a family could need. Laundry facilities are always open, day and night. There is a small shop adjacent to the front desk that is also always open that has supplies that might be needed on a trip. The breakfast in the morning was unbeatable and delicious, just what is needed to start the day! There was french toast, the most delicious pancakes, eggs, potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, and pastries. The chef cooks it right in front of you and is very friendly!

The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including comfortable beds and pillows, and very fluffy towels! The rooms are very quiet, there is no outside noise. There is no extra cost for parking. This is absolutely the best place to stay in Anaheim!
