What a fantastic hotel close to Disneyland. We had two rooms at this hotel, one king suite and a double queen suite. The rooms we had were great. Everything was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was nice to have a sitting area along with the beds in the room. With four people in the double queen room, we had plenty of space to spread out and relax after a day at Disneyland. The bathroom and sink area was always kept clean and everything functioned properly. I had exceptional interactions with the staff at the hotel as well. Every time I called prior to arriving they were very helpful and friendly. When we checked in and out, they were all nice to deal with. Even the small continental breakfast, with hard boiled eggs, pastries, bread, juices, and cereals was nice, especially since it was free. The nicest thing about the hotel was the closeness to the park. A five minute walk and we were at the main gates of the parks. You couldn’t get any closer. I will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend it to others.

Location is excellent and price was reasonable. After a day of walking around Disneyland, it was great to cross the street and know you only had a few more steps to your own room. Next door to Captain Kidd's and IHOP restaurants. Quiznos and Mimi's Cafe the other direction. Target about 1 mile away. We were on the 3rd floor. Quiet but room extremely humid and stuffy. Needed to run the a/c because the windows wouldn't open and it was a cool 60 degrees while we were there. Couldn't even imagine what the summers would be like. That's the only complaint we had. We had a room with 2 double beds. Very clean. A bit cramped but we sure didn't spend time in the room. Only used for sleeping then we were off to Disneyland. Would stay here again and again and again.

You cant get a closer hotel(besides a Disney one) to the park. Its a great hotel if you are traveling with kids. If the kids get tired or they are naughty and need time away from the park its not a problem to walk to and from the park. The rooms are big, you dont feel like you are tripping over your luggage everytime you turn around. I had no problems with the parking, I've stayed here twice and I was always lucky to get a spot right below my room. The breakfast is great if you go early you shouldnt have a problem getting a table. They offer a little more than other hotels. Plus you also have the option of eating down below in the restaurant.

My two if small complaints were 1. housekeeping, I guess if you but the DND sign out early they wont come back at all to check if you switched it to clean please. 2. We got in around 11 pm and desk clerks were very unfriendly. It was late and they were busy however that is no excuse. They were nice the rest of the week though.

My husband and I and our two young children (7 & 9) chose the BW Park Inn & Mini Suites for our stay at Disneyland Aug. 12 - 15, 2007. Our AAA rate was $125 per night. Although we chose this hotel mainly for it's location, directly across from Disney's main gate, we were happy with our experience here and would recommend it as a great place for families. You simply can't get any closer to the park. Contrary to what other guests have commented, we had no problems parking our van. Our long, narrow room was large and clean, although a bit dark with only one small window. It was great to have a fridge and microwave and we put them to good use, eating breakfast in the room before we left for the day. We only did the complimentary Captain Kidd's breakfast once and that was quite enough. The atmosphere was somewhat of a feeding frenzy and just not very pleasant. The hotel staff were happy to direct us to Von's supermarket just down the road where we loaded up on groceries and wine for happy hour. The pool area was a huge disappointment however. It is very, very small and shaded by buildings on three sides. The kids really enjoyed their swims but this was a bit of a deal-breaker for me: I think I would sacrifice the superb location for a nicer pool next time. Also, a few things were in disrepair: ie. one of the two washing machines was out of order, the pool shower didn't work and the only ice machine on our floor was broken. More like just little annoyances, but it adds up. Still, we found the staff professional and courteous and, for the price, this hotel is a bargain considering the location.

The Best Western Park Place Inn definitely met our expectations. The rooms were quite large and seemed to be well maintained. The best thing about this hotel is the location to Disneyland. It is literally a five minute walk and you are directly across from the pedestrian walkway. You can hardly find a closer hotel which made it nice to go back to the room to relax if you needed a break.
The only downside about this hotel was the breakfast in the morning. Although it was free, the selection was quite bland (cereal, muffins, and danishes), and it was always crowded, noisy, and not enough places to sit. Other than that, we would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
