After reading all the reviews, we were a bit apprehensive for our stay, and we are relieved and delighted to have enjoyed five nights at the Four Points. True--in terms of comparable establishments with our same Bonvoy points/experiences--it's less plush (thus the four stars instead of 5), but it was everything we needed for our stay and purpose. The staff--in all regards--went above and beyond. From the folks in the Tru Grits restaurant (don't miss the happy hour!), the front desk staff, housekeeping, and to to the helpful gentleman who came to fix our TV remote, everyone was kind and went above and beyond in their care, questions, and support. We felt taken care of. The room was basic but absolutely fine. It's true that a microwave in every room would go a long way, but we traveled with our own hot water kettle and made full use of the fridge. Our room faced the freeway, and either it was exhaustion from full days at Disneyland with our 9 year old or quality ear plugs---but the freeway noise did not keep us awake and the beds were comfy. We slept very well. We also never heard other guests from our room---evenings were quiet. The pool was warm, and the hot tub helpful at the end of long days; we were often the only folks there. Starbucks is a speedy stroll across the intersection and at our family's brisk walking pace it was 10 minutes to the Disneyland bag check line. Folks have mentioned the overpass and the traffic on the walk, but we didn't have any concerns. The sidewalk was wide, and we enjoyed walking to and from the park with our son.
For our purpose in enjoying Disneyland as a family--this hotel served all our needs. We're glad we chose it! (Huge thanks to all who work there!)
