This is the grossest hotel I have ever stayed at. We arrived at like 3 am because of our flight and just needed a place to crash for a few hours but it was not even worth the price we paid. We had to walk through a line of people smoking at the door. There were hairs and stains on our bed. The bedding smelled like it was not washed or someone had laid on it before us. The chair had weird stains on it. The heater either blew hot or cold air all night and was super loud. In the morning I went outside at 9am and I was offered a shot by a group of teens drinking at the bench by the side exit. Of course I declined. The breakfast was pretty good but pretty sure there was a guy with a prostitute in the breakfast room and he was making sexual gestures at her with his utensils at the table across from us. Went to check out and they couldn’t even print me a receipt. Do not stay here! It should be shut down.

The location and price were suitable for our multi night stay. It's an older building but the rooms are bigger than average and the place is well maintained and updated. Staff was good. Breakfast included a wide variety with yogurt, cooked oatmeal, eggs sausage and waffles. Bed was comfortable. Quite a few construction workers stayed there so we heard them leaving at 5:30 am each work day. (footsteps). Parking in front it's very limited and it's sometimes dark in the back. We would stay there again.

The good news is that the room was clean and somewhat updated. There was no fridge in the room but a place for a fridge, which seemed odd to me. We had stuff we wanted to cool overnight but were not able to which was frustrating.
The hallways are smelly and dark. It is a place you stay on your way somewhere else. The staff was very friendly. We had breakfast but did not use any other features in the hotel.
My view is that the rate is expensive for the condition of the hotel. The day after we stayed here, we stayed at a Sheraton 4 points outside of San Fran and paid only $30 more for night and that was like dramatically nicer hotel, with fully updated rooms and a restaurant and a lovely outdoor area.
