Hotel is great! Also, complimentary shuttle service is awesome—Norm (the driver) was so kind and helpful. Auburn, CA is a beautiful place. Hotel is located very nicely for runners of the Canyons Mountain Endurance Run.

We come down to Auburn from Reno fairly frequently for some of the trail running events that are there. The Springhill Suites is our go-to hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, with great showers to rinse off the trail dust and dirt. Having the pool and hot tub is also nice for a soak after a days on the trails. The staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful during all of our stays.

This hotel feels new, is extremely clean and about as good as you can get between Sacramento and Tahoe for the price. Compared to similar brand-level properties it has more amenities, much nicer public spaces, and a gorgeous pool/spa deck.
Bathroom has a barn door which is not my favorite but the fixtures were very nice and immaculately clean.
Beds were comfortable and the lighting easy to navigate. Tons of USB and a TV with Netflix and other apps on it.
The breakfast was better than most of these kinds of hotels but not as good as an Embassy Suites. Although they had great free coffee!
The parking charge is kind of asinine considering the location but unfortunately this seems to be more the norm than than the exception with 2-3 star hotels like the 4-5's have been doing for years.
Room tip: There is a parking charge so be prepared!

Excellent hotel stay. Great free breakfast. Friendly staff. Emmer in Engineering provided outstanding customer service. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Good location just off the I 80. Many events to do year round in or near Auburn.

The hotel was spectacular and the people who worked there were super sweet and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast and hot drink station were welcoming! Thank you

The hotel staff was incredible welcoming and professional, the check in took less than 5 minutes, the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated compared to what we expected being in the middle of nowhere. The breakfast was yummy and we definitely plan to come back! Thank you!
Room tip: Plenty of parking, very close to freeway, great breakfast
