I was very impressed. During the height of the covid-19 emergency, this hotel was very clean and the staff seemed to take the precautions very seriously.
The room was comfortable. Air conditioner was loud, but it was effective. Nice swimming pool and hot tub.

We’ve stayed here a few times over the years and have always been pleased by the quality of the hotel and pleasant nature of the staff. Matt and Nate put a great face on this place with their easygoing nature! Pedro is always hustling! We really enjoyed our dinner at Max’s and the breakfast was yummy too. The Chef who made our omelette as was working his tail off to make food for the line during the socially distanced requirements (over a hot station with a mask, ugh, props to him) and the kids love the pool! A great stopping point between the Bay and Reno when we don’t want to drive all the way to Reno. Thanks Holiday Inn we’ll be back that’s promise not a threat lol. 😍

I have stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. The restaurant manager is a little rude. But they are separate from the Hotel. My room has always been comfortable, Bathroom is nice, good parking.
We were attending a wedding in Pilot hilll and a winery. This seemed to be the most logical choice for us. I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel in Auburn.
The staff was very kind, considerate and helpful. Check in was quick and easy, we were upgraded to a suite because our room wasn’t ready when we arrived.
The hotel was very quiet on our floor. We were in the 3rd floor. The rooms are clean, new, and spacious I’m not usually impressed with chain hotels; however, this is the exception and a very pleasant t surprise. Breakfast was included in our stay and the custom omelets were very very good!
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area . You will not be disappointed.
The staff is extremely helpful, the room is large and clean, full of small amenities that really make you smile, including so many lights and plugs and switches I had to call down to the desk to find out how to turn one of them off. Two unfavorable points which might pertain only to our stay and just our room #243: ants in and on the bed, and the wifi would disconnect if I was actually in the room, it was fine in the hallway which is where I am right now, on the floor with my morning tea.
