Did not expect the four star quality of this hotel. It was modern with a terrific pool. Best pool ever seen at any hotel and not crowded. The reception was warm and the room very convenient. It was on a second floor but entered from car to that floor. Just down the hall a very nice bar and grill. Breakfast was to order along with a nice buffet. Mostly modern and welcoming. Worth a stay on way along I 80 between Reno and Sacramento. Auburn also is a town with fantastic food.

Great hotel for a 3 day weekend stay. Close to the fairgrounds where our reggae festival was held. Rooms were clean and comfy, the pool and hot tub were perfect on a warm day, and the free made to order breakfast was a great treat. Had a yummy egg scramble every morning. Will stay here next year for festival weekend!

What a wonderful stay! The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. We were visiting with our grandkids, who ended up staying over a few nights in our 2 room suite. We all loved having custom omelets & breakfast burritos at the amazing buffet before spending the day in the recently remodeled salt water pool & spa. The comfortable courtyard became my early morning sanctuary while everyone else was sleeping.
And, while the rooms were updated and well appointed, the best part of our visit was the way the staff absolutely spoiled us! A special shout out to Matt & Rebecca at the front desk, who moved us to a larger room and made sure we were treated like royalty!
And a special shout out to Jesus in housekeeping, who found my briefcase in our first room and made sure it was safely moved to our new suite.
As someone who has traveled for years staying in top hotels, resorts and Air BnBs, this staff tops the list as the best at making me feel that we were very special guests. Thanks!

Awesome place to stay! Immaculate, excellent service and restaurant. We traveled with our dog and needed a place close to whitewater rafting. It’s an excellent location with many amenities close by as well as the charming town of Auburn! Highly recommend

The room was clean and comfortable. The bonus? The outstanding breakfast! Made to order scramble which I haven't seen in some time. Homemade salsa was delicious! Full service staff served with a smile 😃 Felt like I was dining in a restaurant. Would love to see this feature at more locations...just saying 😉
