I almost hate to let the "secret" out about Secreto!
Chef Boyd Rose never disappoints! His personal twist on Southern favorites like Fried Green Tomatoes, Fried Chicken and Shrimp and Grits elevates these dishes to "fine dining." With so many wonderful options, it's impossible to make a bad choice.
On this visit, we were dining with friends so we chose a variety of dishes and sampled bites of each. All of the following were absolutely delicious....
* ARUGULA BEET SALAD
* ROASTED RED PEPPER CRAB BISQUE
* RED CHILLE GLAZED “BANG BANG“ SHRIMP
* FRIED GREEN TOMATOES
* WARM PIMENTO CHEESE DIP
* CHEF BOYD’S SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN
with Smoked Bacon Jalapeno Gravy
* CHARLESTON STYLE CRAB CAKES
* COASTAL SHRIMP & GRITS
We boxed up part of our entrees to save room for dessert!
* WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY CRÈME BRULEE
* WARM BUTTERMILK GLAZED CARROT CAKE
I also tried the Southern Passion cocktail (Vodka, Orange Liqueur, Falernum, Passion Fruit, Agave, Lime) which was sweet and delicious as well.
