Comfortable rooms, on-site fitness centre was a plus. The food portions were intense. The food at times was either too salty or had too little salt. The ceviche, not my favorite. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

This hotel is definitely the best hotel out there between Chetumal Mexico, and Belize city. The rooms are big and new, fully equipped, the service is professional and helpful , and it costs about half of the price of a room similar hotel in Mexico or Belize. The casino is great, Vegas style, with smoking zone, fast food court and an Indian restaurant which is both tasty and super cheap. Don’t miss the opportunity of staying in this hotel when passing from Mexico to Belize or vise versa.

Room Tip: the garden part is better for famalies

My wife and I are anthropology professors who visited the Maya archaeological sites in Belize and Yucatan, Mexico, during our stay in this centrally located hotel on the Belize-Mexico border We enjoyed the special Christmas dinner and the New Year's live music and celebration there. Upon arriving from Belize City, we had to go get a rental car at the airport in Chetumal, Mexico. When hearing of our plight to get there across the border, Mr. Hardie and his son provided their driver and vehicle to take us free of charge. We daily saw Mr. Hardie, a friendly and charming person, around the hotel and casino looking out for his clients. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent. The most expensive full breakfast on the menu was $5.95. It is a new hotel with outstanding cleanliness and staff. The casino attracts large crowds daily. We consider this the best hotel in all of Belize and southern Yucatan.

Room Tip: It is a new hotel and all the rooms are in excellent condition.

Right from checking in late to being allowed to check out late, the staff was amazing and very helpful. The room was very nice and clean. I got to look at the pool only this time, but definitely will enjoy it next time I stay. Great place to stay! The casino was nice to have close and the food was very reasonable and good.

Very nice, new Hotel in the free zone. Clean, bright with nice rooms and views. The pool area and pool bar are very nice and the staff at the pool bar excellent. The problem we had with the hotel was when we checked in for a 2 night stay at 130.00 US a night we were told breakfast was included in the price. We did question where we go for this breakfast etc. and we're told to just go to the restaurant. we were there about Dec.4. We went to the restaurant the next morning, said the breakfast would be included in the room price as we were told and we were informed that it was not included. We went back to the desk, talked with staff there and we were told breakfast is never included despite what we were told, it was a mistake. The hotel would do nothing for their mistake so we told them to prepare our bill and we would check out which we did. Bad business to let a customer check out without so much as an apology. Will not be going to this hotel again.
