Our party of eight(2 families) had the good fortune of stopping for lunch on 3/16 during our spring break. The location was iconic beachfront laid back Belize with a subtle open air reggae vibe. The menu is a nice blend of well known Mexican options that have been made better with the genius of the owner Frankie, a 50 year resident of Belize who has travelled extensively throughout the Yucatan and Central America. His expertise in the cuisine of this area has resulted in some really tasty homemade salsas that accompany the meals. Definitely go for the heat as that is where the uniqueness of his salsas excel( the milder ones are fine but I love the heat). The bar menu has all the favorites but again go for the heat. Frankie has some habanero/fruit daiquiris and mojitos that are worth the trip for that alone. He his a wonderful host and proprietor. You will not be sorry you visited. Thanks again to Frankie and Brenda for a great lunch. Salud from Colorado!

There were few people here when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. We actually had lunch and drinks here twice. The tacos were good. The value of the Sunday afternoon barbecue was o.k. Really liked the pickled cabbage as a side dish.

Funky yes but the chef was not there and didn't know when he'd show up. Most of the food on the menu was not available due to no chef. Kind of dirty and just don't understand the ratings system. They would be last on my list.

We rode our bikes to this Mexican/Caribbean restaurant and Frankie promised us they'd throw our bikes on the back of the truck and take us home if we sampled too many daiquiris. Despite the lime, mint & homemade rum drinks being particularly delicious, we managed to eat enough food to leave fairly sober--but riding bikes in the dark is not recommended.

We highly recommend the Carribean chicken and the Mexican tostadas. We ate enough nachos to absorb all the rum. A nice place to chill for the evening or to dance around to the tunes. It's the kind of place where your weird dance moves are tolerated so go for it!

Frankie grows his own herbs for the drinks & was kind enough to give us some mint to take home, which we used to flavor limeade the next day.

Frankie is the welcoming proprietor of the funky Mexican beach bar and restaurant and he will treat you right! From the funky posters of recording artists that adorn the walls to the varied menu you will find this place eclectic and cool. As David Johansson would say "funky but chic." Friday night is Fiesta Friday and the food comes in waves. It's a very nice setting day or night to enjoy the Belizean ocean breeze.

Thank you so much for visiting Tiger Beach Club It was a pleasure to serve you. Your (big) party obviously knew a lot about food... always a challenge. I'm happy we passed your discriminating taste tests. We hope to see you again on your next visit to beautiful Belize.
