If you're into hot springs and mud baths, this is a pretty cool getaway. This was a first for us, and we really enjoyed stepping out of our elements. The springs are better than a natural hot Jacuzzi, and the sights are absolutely beautiful. Very nice and serene, you have to walk through old orinigal stone pathways and bridges to navigate the place, and very little is actually manufactured.

Awesome hot springs with varying levels of heat. Everything seemed really clean with safe and easy shuttles from Copan Ruinas.

We went to the hot springs in January. Group of six. Had the entire place to ourselves. A place of total relaxation. Different pools of different temperatures. You ca sit under a waterfall as well. You can also get a free mud mask applied by yourself. The place was so beautiful it is hard to describe. It is about 20 km from Copan. The road to it is mostly dirt and we went right after a rain. Almost turned back due to four streams we crossed and thick mud. Recommend 4x4 if recent rain. We also had a delicious meal of local food. I think we paid $15 per person for three hours. If it was crowded, I don't think it would have been as nice. Worth the time if you can brave the road. They also offer massages with hot rocks, but we did not do this. Have fun!
