Museum docents in character entertained our 4 year old as well as being informative to us adults. Beautiful works of art and very tastefully displayed. Family friendly art though some nude statues. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful building with an art gallery that extends over the past 200 years. While relatively small, it provides a good insight into southern art. Two areas are reserved for rotating art. Go on a Sunday when it is free!

The Morris museum displays southern artist or art with a southern theme. It is a very nice facility and the art is good, although I didn't see any really big name artists.

The Morris has a wonderful and Internationally known collection of Southern Art from 1700's through today. Art is well displayed and grouped into various themes. The current special exhibit of Michaelopolis" New Orleans based paintings is fun. Great size too so you don't get art overload. They also don't feel the need to pack the walls so full you can't appreciate what you are looking at.

The Morris Museum is located no the second floor of an office building on the Riverwalk and across from the Marriott Hotel. It is a small museum but presents a variety of art from more traditional portraits to contemporary to glass. The entrance fee is only $5 (senior citizens $3). The staff is extremely nice and made for a nice diversion for a couple of hours as we waited for the rain to stop.
