I have just stayed in the most delightful place on earth .....If you are visiting this area, it is a must - a real haven of peace and tranquility.
Outstanding customer service and a real desire to tell you about Berber life mixed with great activities, whilst there we took a walk with a local guide to see the local village and co-operative, visited the school and were even invited to the guides home for tea with his family and viewed his goats and chickens.
The cookery school is great fun, we cooked a three course moroccan lunch - M'bark was a fab teacher, we especially enjoyed cooking our own bread in the outdoor oven.
The Hammam was a great experience followed by mountain biking the next day.
Allow yourself some time to sit by the beautiful pool, strum your guitar and practise some yoga ..heaven !

Atlas Kasbah was just wonderful in every way. The setting was magnificent and the kasbah was beautiful. The food was great and the staff were amazing. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and had a wonderful 4 days in the kasbah. We arrived on New Year's Eve and Helene and Hassan (owners) had arranged a Berber feast and party. Lots of thought was put into this - guests were given Berber robes to wear and introduced to Berber culture. Traditional Berber gifts were also given to the guests. There was then a lovely dinner, music and dancing. Throughout our stay the staff were incredible - they were discrete yet attended to our every need - always helpful and friendly and eager to answer any questions we had. I have never felt as relaxed as this in a hotel. There are lots of little extra things - like mint tea when you arrive and hats and sun tan lotion left out for guests in case they need it. It felt like all of the staff genuinely wanted to do what they could to make us enjoy our stay. I cannot wait to go back and I would highly recommend Atlas Kasbah to anyone - it is a little corner of paradise. Thanks Hassan and Helene for a wonderful experience.

Atlas Kasbah should be saved for the end of your trip - it is a beautiful, comfortable sanctuary with fantastic food and stunning scenery everywhere you look. The staff are wonderful and the activities are good fun too. Highly recommended!

The beauty of the Kasbah and the staff made my trip to Morocco amazing. The setting and rooms are very elegant, clean and comfortable. The Kasbah is just far enough from the touristy part of Agadir to experience the genuine tranquility of the Berber lifestyle as well as their attentive hospitality. I recommend dining at the Kasbah, each delicious course is prepared with great care and presented beautifully. The staff are so friendly and willing to share their stories or help you to plan your next day. The hammam (steam bath) was a fun experience as well and the location was just close enough to run into town for some beach time and shopping. My experience was one of pampered relaxation just what my soul needed!

Room Tip: Though trip advisor said the rooms were sold out, I was able to book a room via a quick email to the...

We spent three nights here and were delighted with the Kasbah. The location is wonderfully remote but actually only a short drive from Agadir. Our family suite was large and decorated in traditional style furnishings made by local craftsmen. The lovely food was also produced locally and served either on the terrace, inner courtyard or restaurant. The owners and staff made the stay an exceptional experience with their discreet but attentive service and friendly hospitality. We enjoyed a morning excursion exploring the local mountainside by donkey and hired mountain bikes another morning. Would recommend getting away from the touristy Agadir and really getting to experience true moroccan hospitality.

Accommodation was very comfortable and beautiful. The garden was full of birds in spite of the winter season.
We were treated like long-lost friends and it just feels great !
So if you like to stay near the swimming-pool among large crowds of people then stay in an resort in Agadir city. If you are looking for a secluded ecolodge in the argan forest with spacious room and delicious food then go for it !
This is the sort of place we would definitely return to.

My wife and I went to atlas kasbah for our honeymoon and we could not have had a better experience. Beyond the excellent customer service, the nice Berber suite and the picturesque view on the argan forest, it seemed like the ecolodge is making as little impact as possible. They are also involved in many community projects and that's what an ecolodge experience is all about : you get the feeling that you actually help local people.
