“Best Welcome to Morocco”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2012

This family run hotel in central Casablanca is one of the best welcomes to Morocco one could ask for. A quaint hotel, very clean and well kept but the best part is the staff. They went out of their way to assist us in collecting our luggage that arrived in Casablanca two days after we did and also offered many suggestions on touring both 'Casa' and the country of Morocco. Their very friendly and personal service helped us to arrange drivers and guides on to Rabat and Meknes that were excellent! I cannot imagine how anyone could find this hotel and the staff to be anything but excellent.

We changed rooms twice in half an hour. The rooms were filthy, very dusty and I even had to use my own antibacterial wipes to wipe down the toilet seat and basin, that's when we decided to change rooms. The shower squirted all over the bathroom, there was no shower screen and the sliding door to the bathroom jammed and I had to get help to get out. The sheets were thread bare, the first hotel I've ever had to sleep in my own sleeping sheet. We stayed here because it was the first night of our Tour. The men on the front desk weren't helpful or sympathetic and only really wanted you to book their tour. There's only one thing worth seeing and that's the White Mosque, so I wouldn't wasted time on the tour. We decided that we would stay as we had already paid ,as it was our first night in Morocco we wondered if it was all going to be like this. We were very unhappy about the condition and cleanliness of the rooms. We found out later the tour company were soon to change hotels.

Great location.

Unfortunately, we were picked up by the hotel owner who advised us that his hotel was full and took us to a shabby horrible hotel. We understand now that this was a scam.

When we got to the hotel for the second night of our stay, we found the hotel cold and it smelt awful in the room. Breakfast wasn't too bad but it wasnt included.

The hotel had a city tour for sale which we did. It was a good tour. However, not really worth the money.

I spent one night here for 250dhm. The room smelled mildewy (like a wet armpit) and it was noisy from the street below. The breakfast was way overpriced and the staff wasn't very helpful. There are better options in Casablanca.

This hotel is in the centre of Casablanca, close to most of the attractions. The staff are wonderful. We had problems with our luggage and they jumped right in to help us communicate with Air France to secure the return of all of our luggage.Because of the delay in receiving our luggage we stayed an extra night which ended up being great.
They organized tours for us for in and around the city. They even organized a tour to Rabat along the way to Meknes.
The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The restaurant is excellent. Great Moroccan food and entertainment.
The hotel may be rated as a 3 star, but we had a 5 star experience.

Room Tip: Front and back side may be a little quieter from the street activities.

It has a good blend of recently renovated room interiors + well preserved architectural facade. Friendly staff. Breakfast is filling. They have good in-house transport options. Good location.
