Fès is an amazing historical city! Coming from Marrakech, I've really got surprised when I arrive the Medina of Fèz. Staying in the Agila Fes Riad give the visitors a true prespective of this imperial City.
The Riad, organized in 3 patios, is tastefully decorated with beautiful traditional tiles and berber rugs. We stayed in a classic room with a private bathroom, both very spacious, comfortable and and clean. Staff really kind and helpful.

Just spent 5nts at Algila with our 5yrs old son, had a wonderful time thanks to Algila Team headed by Fatima whom can solve anything you need or anticipate what you don't even know you need yet. The Food is wonderful especially the couscous which was the highlight of our Gastronomic Tour. Algila's rooms (we had a suite) are both comfortable with a very cosy bed which will guarantee a great nights sleep after a long day trying to find ones way around the Medina. Algila's breakfast I don't think could be missing anything even if your used to 6 Star Hotels (coffee was better than mine at Home and fresh mandarin juice since it's the season was quite a nectare). The large terrace offers a stunning view of the Medina and sun rise around 7 am if your like me getting up to appreciate it.
I would highly suggest to get Fatima to book for two mornings one of her guides to show you around as the Medina can be a bit overwhelming even with Google Maps or Waze. But once you get the hang of it, go out to discover the Medina on your own. Maybe the most interesting thing is Algila's location which not knowing the city obviously, one underestimates totally. Basically it's on one of the sides of the Medina which has easy access via car but better 5 min from Blue Gate, and all the things you want to visit are not more than 10 min away by foot. We are already thinking of when to come back. Thanks for a great stay.

Location right in the medina is something special. The well preserved, vintage building is a treasure from the past. Food is typical Moroccan and quite abundant. The freshly squeezed orange juice a treat to start the day in the right foot.
Unique experience that made us feel quite welcome.
Highly recommended.

We enjoyed four nights at Algila - and found the staff to be incredibly accommodating and helpful. Soultan greeted us with tea and his staff were very sweet and willing to help with whatever we needed. We had the suite, which was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. We got lost one night in the Medina and the staff very graciously came to guide us back to the Riad. The staff also accommodated a last minute request for dinner at the Riad and really bent over backwards to ensure we were happy.

My only feedback for improvement was that when we settled there was some confusion about the taxes added to our bill. We had two emails with two different amounts and it caused us uncertainty as to what was really owed. It is unfortunate to have to argue over such matters when we had enjoyed our stay so much. Also, we enjoyed the breakfast but felt there could be more variety, like fruit.

We had a great stay nights in this lovely Riad located in the Medina of Fes.
The staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome.
Always give you tips and always offer mint tea and pastries.
Everything was superb and excellent.
The breakfast was very good and the rooms are faboulous and clean.
The roof terrace was amazing.
We had a fantastic dinner with tajine and with typical maroccain products.
All products were fresh.
