We started with lunch in the courtyard - the beef kefta was surprisingly good. After that we went up to the roof and relaxed there all afternoon. The view of the city are amazing, the hotel is high in the medina and the roof looks down over the rest of it and the rest of the city.
The service was excellent, and the head bartender rivals or even outdoes some of the best cocktail restaurants in the world. His signature cocktail was a combination of vodka, grapefruit, lemon and orange juices, mint, thyme and strawberry. Complex and refreshing at the same time - must try. Also had the best Negroni of my life.
There's deep house music playing at a comfortable volume for vibes but not loud enough to be in-your-face.

When leaving a hotel is the highlight of your stay there - it is testament to how bad the Hotel is. Even though we were told our room’s bathroom was recently renovated, the shower did not work and it took almost 5mins to get hot water running. The bathroom was so small and tight, it was impossible not to get intimate with the ceiling! The heating/AC unit, when turned on was annoyingly loud and squeaky and did not heat up the room sufficiently. When these issues were brought up with the Hotel manager they were either dismissive or unable to address these issues, including swapping us to an equivalent room. It is really unfortunate because the hotel itself is quite charming (outdoor bar area, dining room, pool area, lobby) - it is just run down, poorly maintained and the staff is scantly trained. If you are picky about small things like having a decent shower or a good night’s sleep in a warm room without a loud squeaking noise- think twice before you come here. We’ve stayed at many Relais & Chateaux properties, this hotel definitely does not make the cut by any stretch.

First of all, I want to thank you the team of Riad Fes for the hospitality and for being so nice all the time, especially thanks to Wahiba from the front desk she was so sweet and help us to get the bus tickets to Chefchaouen.

We spent just 1 night at the Riad and it was amazing. We got a double room called "Ambre" with views to the swimming pool. Quiet room, spacious, the bed was very comfortable and big with a lot of pillows!! There is a desk if you need to work, very useful, coffee machine, a coffee table, complimentary water. The bathroom is gorgeous, the walking shower is great. You will find all the amenities there.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant, buffet breakfast very complete, the staff there was also very gentle.

The terrace is a must visit, with views to Fes I highly recommend to go during the sunset, lovely experience.

The hotel itself is very elegant and the details are gorgeous as you can see at the reception. You feel you are in a Moroccan Palace.

Again, thank you to everyone for making our stay unforgettable. Hope to be back soon,

This is a really interesting place. It’s been open 12 years and is a series of houses connected. Each room is different. Not all upstairs rooms have elevator access so if you don’t want stairs note it in reservation ..the staff is fabulous and so helpful and friendly—they are the epitome of hospitality. And do have dinner there—it was one of our favorite meals in Fes

Just spent 2 nights at this beautiful riad and can highly recommend - such a beautiful and well preserved/renovated building. You can just switch off and relax in comfort. Apart from that all the staff we interacted with were superb - courteous, professional, super helpful. We are returning in a couple of weeks at the end of our Morocco trip and am very much looking forward to finishing our journey there. Classic Moroccan ambience.
