There was so much to like about this Riad. The position, within a short walk of car access in one direction, and the soukhs in the other, was perfect. The staff were charming and friendly. The décor of the public areas was gorgeous. The views to the Atlas Mountains from the rooftop terrace were fabulous. A few gripes, mostly to do with booking via EasyJet: the rooms available to EasyJet customers bear very little resemblance to the ravishing rooms you will see on the Riad's website. Ours was a tad Spartan, all white and not at all glamorous, with negligible clothes hanging space, no advertised bathrobes, and I had to ask for a hairdryer. However, everything was clean, and worked, and the bed was blissfully comfortable. But I wish EasyJet had made things clearer. Down to them, I think. Our other gripe, which IS down to the Riad, was that we would arrive back late afternoon and ask at reception for a couple of glasses of wine to be served to us on the roof terrace. And wait, and wait. Be prepared for a 20/30 minute wait, and to have to go back down 3 floors to remind them! On the other hand, the staff were incredibly helpful organising early breakfasts and taxis when we needed them. Another warning, rather than a complaint, is that you should ideally book dinner before 10.30am. But it's worth it. The food is excellent. Overall experience? When we'd got over the dislocation of expectation from website to EasyJet reality we loved it. Did I mention how comfortable the bed was? How good the food was? How wonderful the views?

Room Tip: 'Standard' room is fine, and comfortable, but not the glam room you will see on the website.

Lovely traditional Riad, fantastic vista's with views from the roof terraces over towards the Atlas Mountains, staff are superb, couldn't ask for more from a winter break. Traditional in every sense of the word.

Room Tip: Treet the staff with respect and they can't do enough for you ☺️

Quirky & Charming Riad! We spent a very happy 5 days here in mid November on a recent visit to Marrakech. Morning breakfasts on the roof garden terrace, with views of the first snows on the High Atlas, then off to explore. Ismael organised an excellent guide who gave us a 4 hour tour the first morning, visiting the main sites & giving us tips on how to find our way around & through the souks. A lovely welcome home from Sumia & the most perfect mint tea from Aziz greeted our return. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel - it is a Riad, & one with huge character & friendly helpful service from all the staff. All the rooms are different - some small, some have internal stairs to the ensuite, some with no window, some with more of light. There is no lift. That said, we would definitely return to Riad Moullaoud on our next visit - it is charming. To stay in the old Medina is really to experience Marrakech, & everywhere is only a few minutes walk away (if you don't get lost in the Souk!).

Room Tip: Many stairs, some rooms are small - worth paying for a better room.

We stayed here for a week halfboard and cannot complain about anything. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do anymore for you. The food every night was delicious and real Moroccan food. Our waiter explained everything we had to eat and how they make it and with what ingredients etc. Our room was always cleaned well and the mattress was very comfortable. My partner proposed here and we had a beautiful table made up for us and all the staff were congratulating us! Drinks were average price and lunch was good value and tasted lovely. I also had a spa and it was very well priced and relaxing. We loved our stay and we will definitely come back. Thanks all xx

Got a really cheap deal as someone messed up with the advertising room rate.
As a result, we were largely ignored at this riad. It's beautiful but I would not stay there again , nor would I recommend it.

We've been there for 5 days. Hotel is really traditional, if you want to enjoy old Medina and this kind of city life in Marrakech, you will appreciate hotels location. Its smashing about 10 minutes for walk from the main square - Jemma. Hotel was clean, staff was kind and breakfast was good - especially their orange juice was delicious.
Thank you for great vacation in Marrakech.

Stayed 5 nights in the Orient Express suite with my sister. Comfortable beds, beautifully decorated property, attentive service. Staff speaks excellent English. They arranged to have a staff member meet us at the nearby taxi stand at Place du Moukef (pronounced MOQF) so that we had no trouble finding the riad on arrival. They also arranged a nice transfer car to the airport at the end of our trip. On-site hammam and massage were a treat, and dinner at the riad (which can be arranged in advance for a modest fee) was delicious.

The riad is about a 10-minute walk through to the souqs to the main square. It's a bit confusing the first time, but you get the hang of it. Just don't make your first attempt in the dark! (That was my biggest mistake.)

One caveat about the rooms: Bathrooms are completely open. So make sure you're very comfortable with your roommate!
