My family and I used the Riad Al Ksar Spa for hammam, massage and facial on several occasions during our recent visit to Marrakech. At all times the staff were very welcoming and looked after us beautifully. The hammam took place in a very calm, intimate space and was done very thoroughly so we all felt wonderfully refreshed and clean. Massages were also excellent and afterwards it was lovely to go up to the rooftop terrace for a mint tea and enjoy the views across the city to the distant mountains. They are also well priced compared to other places and give a much more personal service. Highly recommended.

This was our first trip to Marrakech & we were really pleased with our choice of accommodation. Close enough to all the places of interest but far enough away to get some peace & quiet after the hustle & bustle of the souks. We stayed in room 1 which had a lovely internal private balcony off the hotel room. We travelled with our 14 year old son & despite having an additional single bed in our room there was plenty of space. The bathroom was lovely with loads of hot water whatever the time of day. We enjoyed breakfast on the roof terrace & took time out to enjoy the sun at the end of a busy day walking around the souks. Oliver & the team could not have been more welcoming & gave us all the key information we needed in order to navigate around Marrakech. We opted to take a couple of excursions which Oliver arranged for us - quad biking & a visit to the waterfalls. We opted for private trips in both cases & were really pleased that we did despite a small additional cost. Both were well worth the money. My husband & I also made arrangements to have a dual treatment in the spa - hamman, scrub & massage - a 2 hour treatment. Really relaxing & great that it's on site. The only negative thing I can think of is that the Wi-Fi is not the best & can be a bit temperamental. Not so much of an issue for my husband & I but a life essential for 14 year old you tube addict! Finally I would recommend using the transfer facility that the riad offer at a small cost, as there is no way we would have found the riad without the guidance of the driver. Great place & would definitely recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Room 1 is lovely with an internal balcony & a bath as well as a wet room shower

Marrekech was on my bucket list for years and we managed to get there in October.Temperature was in the thirties and only dropped to Twenty ish at night.Perfect base for exploring the old town and souks. hotel is as you would expect old and hidden down a narrow alley way but when you enter you are in a beautiful garden with spa pool and palm trees. Staff are very friendly and can organise any trips you fancy at a far lower cost the the usual agencies. The rooftop bar and resteraunt give a great view of the city and the sunsets are fabulous. Breakfast is a simple affair but very filling. Bread,Yoghurt, jam and coffee. A menu for dinner is basic but very good quality. The beds were huge and comfortable and clean and bathroom was modern and functional.Shower had lots of power too. This is a family owned hotel and doesnt have many rooms so even though you are in the town it is very quiet. We hired a carriage and toured the area all day visiting palaces souks and even a tannery which stunk but was interesting. We had 4 days there and it was enough to see the sights and have a trip up to the Atlas mountains.

Room Tip: Up near the roof terraceis great.

We stayed in 2013. The riad is well located, about a 15 minute walk from the main market place. It offers its own spa treatments and the French owner/manager is very helpful and pleasant and speaks very good english.
One problem we had was that the air con was not particularly in our rom and we had to have fans to cool it down, but am sure that has since been fixed/upgraded.

We stayed a total of - and four nights at this very stylish readhidden away in a quiet corner of the medina. The staff were attentive, not pushy, and offered helpful suggestions and advice.

The one improvement that would make a huge difference would be air-conditioning or a fan. The plunge pool provided welcome relief from the heat we in Marrakesh at the time of our visit.
